Tiger Tiger Wasabi paste contains real wasabi stems to deliver a hot and pungent taste to sushi, dressings and dipping sauces. Use sparingly.

 

Ingredients:

Horseradish Powder (35%), Water, Salt, Wasabi (6%), Mustard Powder, Sunflower Oil, Lactose (Milk), Horseradish Oil, Spice Extract, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Stabilizer (Xanthan Gum), Colour (Copper Chlorophyllin).

Features:

Often added to sushi and sashimi to draw out the wonderful flavours of the fish.

It is also used in salad dressings, marinades or noodle dishes to add a dash of heat and flavour.

Suitable for vegans

Usage:

Use in sushi and sashimi, or add to salad dressings, marinades or noodles for taste.

Preparations:

Simply mix sushi soy sauce and wasabi paste and dip sushi of your choice. 

Recipe:

Sushi rice

Wash the rice 3 times or leave it in the water for 30mins before washing.

When draining, use a sieve and let the rice drain for 30 minutes to absorb the moisture on the surface then cook.

Add three tablespoons of rice vinegar to approx. 500g of cooked rice.  

Add the Sushi Vinegar promptly, pouring it as evenly as possible over the rice.

Using the spatula, make gentle cutting and folding movements to mix the vinegar thoroughly into the rice, being sure not to crush the kernels by mashing or stirring.

Ensure rice is thoroughly cooled and refrigerated before making sushi.

Store in a cool dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated.
